TECHNOLOGY
QAM has made the investment in technology and has implemented a fully Electronic Documentation System (EDS) which allows for reports and project data to be created via tablet or laptop and either shared, audited, or distributed in real time from any location.
PreVal analyzes field entered inspection data on an hourly basis against QAM inspection reports and verification records to ensure ISO drawing weld data has been inspected and accepted for every weld made on each ISO drawing. The system produces daily welding statistics for each fabrication location including defect summaries, rejection rates, inspection type and results. The system is designed to streamline ISO drawing validation by searching for single or multi-text strings to locate QAM inspection reports / verification records and provide links to validated documents such as welding operator qualifications, material test reports, material certificates of conformance, machine calibration certifications, welding gas certificates of analysis, etc. in seconds.
